Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce
ABOUT SACC
The Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1911 to actively support and promote trade and business between Swedish and Australian companies as well as create a social forum that allows professionals to connect with like-minded people from Sweden and Australia. SACC is a growing organisation with a strong focus on member benefits. We have a simple structure, which enables us to offer attractive membership fees. As a member organisation we aim to assist our members in every possible way to foster good relations and trade bi-laterally.
THE CHAMBER’S COUNCIL
The Chamber’s Board consists of elected and honorary members, who represent the interests of our member companies and individual members. The SACC Board is led by President Jan Gardberg and they meet on a regular basis. The SACC has Chapters with sub-committees in Melbourne VIC, Perth WA and Brisbane QLD. The Chamber also has a Sydney based sub-committee for the Young Professionals. A close relationship exists between the Chamber, the Embassy of Sweden, Consulates, and Business Sweden through the TEAM SWEDEN initiative. The Chambers overall business projects and events are managed by Camilla Jennings, General Manager of the Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce.
THE SACC CHAPTERS
The SACC has been growing in the last few years and started up a Chapter in Melbourne VIC in 2015, a Chapter in Perth WA in 2018 and a Chapter in Brisbane QLD in the end of 2019.
