YOU ARE INVITED TO SiS TRADITIONAL LUCIA CELEBRATION 

You may or may not be familiar with the concept of Lucia. If you are new to Lucia, find out all the essential information here Lucia – what is it?  or just turn up on the day and experience Lucia first hand. Welcome!

VENUE:  Grattan Crescent, 3 Ararat Reserve, French Forest NSW 2086
WHEN:    Sunday 10 December
TIME:      11:00-16:00

SiS invites you and your family to a fun filled day with a traditional Lucia procession accompanied with beautiful music and singing, dance and games, interesting market stalls and more! 

FIKA Swedish Kitchen are our caterers during the day so please come along and enjoy one of their Swedish delicacies during the day or just come and enjoy a cuppa with a saffron bun – Lussekatt. We guarantee loads of Swedish Christmas ambience with Christmas songs and much more.

SiS also have a raffle and you have the chance to win great prizes from our lottery. Come along! This is a great day for mingling amongst new and old friends.

Sissorna

SiS är en ideell, oberoende förening som bildades i Sydney 1960. Svenskor i Sydneys (SiS) primära syfte och målsättning är att utveckla och bevara det svenska språket, och hålla svenska traditioner och svensk kultur levande. Vi erbjuder ett nätverk och stöd i både professionella och personliga sammanhang både för nyanlända svenskor eller svenskor som har bott här under en längre tid. SiS är till för dig som är svensk kvinna och bor i Sydney. Det spelar ingen roll om du är nyanländ eller har bott här länge. Du är också välkommen om du inte är svensk men har en stark svensk ankytning med vissa kunskaper i svenska. Vad som är viktigt är att du har lust att träffa andra svenskor i Sydney för att knyta nya kontakter, få stöd, ha riktigt kul tillsammans och hålla det svenska språket och kulturen levande. Bli medlem hos SiS och träffa andra svenska kvinnor i Sydney och knyt kontakter. Vi lovar att vi har roligt tillsammans, med många trevliga aktiviteter under SiS-året.
